A trust fund has been established at Sun Trust Bank for the children of a Fulton County Deputy Sheriff killed in the line of duty. Deputy Ricky
Kinchen, a nine-year veteran of the Fulton County Sheriff's Office died Friday afternoon at Grady Memorial Hospital from gunshot wounds he sustained while attempting to serve a warrant. He is survived by two children. Deputy Aldranon English, who was critically wounded during the shooting incident, continues to improve at Grady
Hospital, and is now listed in good condition.
The family of Deputy Kinchen has endorsed the fund at Sun Trust Bank, and anyone wishing to contribute may do so by calling (770) 472-2292.
A second trust fund has also been established by the International Brotherhood of Police
Officers (IBPO), with contributions to benefit both deputies.
