Georgia Tech’s “Kelly Campbell” to Speak at Continental Colony Elementary School

Georgia Tech’s Lead Wide receiver “Kelly Campbell” is teaming up with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday, March 21, 2002, to encourage students to stay in school, and stay away from gangs.

During tomorrow’s presentation of the Sheriff’s Office S.T.A.R. Program (Safety, Training and Response) at Continental Colony Elementary School, Mr. Campbell will be sharing his life experiences with students, while educating them on the importance of a good education. Kelly Campbell is an Alumnus of Continental Colony.

Mr. Campbell is currently in his senior year at Georgia Tech, and is preparing for the NFL Draft pick, later this month. Mr. Campbell expressed his desire to participate in outreach programs that deter criminal activities in the schools and throughout the community. At the conclusion of tomorrow’s program, Kelly Campbell will take pictures with students and sign autographs.

Continental Colony Elementary School is located at 3181 Hogan Road, SW. The S.T.A.R. program is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.
