Easter Seals Kids To “Shop With A Cop” Saturday Morning at Sandy Springs K-Mart
 

The Fulton County Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #64, in cooperation with the Easter Seals Society have made arrangements for 25-30 needy children to “Shop With A Cop” on Saturday, December 7^th, at the K-Mart store in Sandy Springs.

Law enforcement officers from the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, Fulton County Police Office and the Fulton County Marshals Office are extending a helping hand this Saturday morning in hopes of making the holiday season a little brighter for these special young kids.

The children, ages 3-12, were selected to participate by the Easter Seals Society.  Most of these youngsters have been diagnosed with a medical disability.  The staff and management of the Sandy Springs K-Mart will provide snacks and a party of the children.  Santa will also be dropping by for a visit.  In an effort to increase the number of gifts each child receives, K-Mart will discount the price of the items selected.

The Sandy Springs K-Mart is located at 5925 Roswell Road.  The “Shop With A Cop” program is scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m.
