Sheriff Fugitive Quwan R. Rodgers Back Behind Bars In Fulton County

Quwan R. Rogers

A fugitive who eluded authorities for four days is back behind bars in Fulton County. Quwan R. Rogers escaped from the Fulton County Jail during the morning hours of December 20th. Rogers, along with escapee Octavio Diaz managed to escape from their cellblock, however, Diaz was captured a short time later. The Fulton County Sheriff’s “Fugitive Unit” traced Rogers to Green County last Sunday where he came close to capture. Rogers was eventually arrested in Jackson, Tennessee on December 23rd after deputies tracked him to a local hotel. He was incarcerated briefly in Tennessee, and waived extradition on December 26th. Rogers was returned to Fulton County Jail the following day. Quwan Rodgers now faces an escape charge in addition to five other charges pending.
