Fulton Deputies Injured While Executing
Arrest Warrant In West End

Two deputies from the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office were injured Sunday night while attempting to execute an arrest warrant. The incident occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m. when deputies attempted to apprehend 20 year old Reginald Lestage at his home on Culberson Street in the West End. Lestage was wanted on a State Court warrant out of DeKalb County for 2-counts of Theft by Shoplifting. The suspect’s mother, 40 year old Carolyn Collins, allegedly attacked the deputies when Lestage resisted arrest. Both Lestage and Collins escaped the residence in a bluish-green Pontiac Grand Prix.

Both deputies were taken to Grady memorial Hospital where they were treated and released shortly before midnight. One deputy was diagnosed with a bruised knee. The other deputy was treated for chest pains.

The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit is currently searching for Lestage and Collins who are believed to be somewhere in the metro Atlanta area. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is urged to call the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office at (404) 730-5129.
