Sheriff Jacquelyn Barrett and the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office will be
hosting a community Halloween Party at the newly constructed Adamsville
Recreation Center, located at 3201 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive in
Southwest Atlanta. The event will be held on Friday, October 31, 2003, from
5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Children, ages thirteen (13) and under
will participate in a variety of games and activities, hosted by the Fulton
County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies from the department’s Community
Relations Section will provide educational safety tips to both parents and
children. There’ll be musical entertainment. Food and refreshments have been
donated from local businesses. Sheriff Barrett will also be
on hand to greet the children and parents at tomorrow’s event.
The Sheriff’s Office has a long tradition of hosting annual Halloween
parties in communities throughout Fulton County.
