The Fulton County Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #64 is proud to host its
17th annual “Shop With A Cop” event on Saturday, December 13th at the
Target Office Store located in the new Camp Creek Market Place shopping
center. Several uniformed members of the local F.O.P. lodge which include;
the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, Fulton County Marshals Office,
Fulton County Police Office, and East Point Police Office, will shop
the aisles with several needy children in search of those special holiday
gifts for under the tree. “Shop With A Cop” has been a
long running tradition for members of the F.O.P. lodge. Children who
participate in the annual event are selected by the local Easter Seals
Society and surrounding Metro-Atlanta communities. Many of the participating
children have special needs. The Fraternal Order of Police
will purchase Target Store gift cards and supply each child with a card to
make their purchases. A uniformed law enforcement officer from the lodge
will accompany each child to assist them in making those exciting, and
sometimes challenging holiday selections. The “Shop With A Cop” kids
will be treated to refreshments and snacks, and have their picture taken
with Santa while visiting the store. “Shop With A Cop”
will begin at 8:00 a.m. The Camp Creek Market Place shopping center is
located on Camp Creek Parkway, just off I-285 in South Fulton County.
