A Fulton murder suspect, wanted in connecting with the shooting death of a
toddler earlier this month, will be extradited back to Atlanta this
afternoon. Steven Marshall, 32, who was captured in Cleveland, Ohio on
January 14th, is expected to arrive at the Fulton County Jail this afternoon
at 5:30 p.m. Fulton County Sheriff Jackie Barrett announced
today that she will personally travel to Ohio and extradite Marshall back to
Atlanta. “This was a very heinous crime,” said Sheriff
Barrett. “Considering his extensive criminal history, and flight to avoid
prosecution, I will personally assist the extradition team this afternoon as
they return Marshall back to Atlanta.” Marshall has been
charged with murder in the shooting death of 3 year-old Terrance Douglas at
an East Point apartment on January 5th. Five other suspects charged in the
case, including the child’s mother, are free on bond.
