Sheriff’s Office to Co-Sponsor Octoberfest Celebration at Parkside Elementary School; Friday

The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office and Parkside Elementary School have come together to host an exciting Octoberfest celebration on Friday, October 29, 2004 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The event will take place at Parkside Elementary, located at 685 Mercer Street, S.E. in the Grant Park area.

Interim Sheriff Theodore Jackson, along with several members of the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office will be on hand to greet children and parents as they arrive for an evening of celebration and fun. Through the generosity and support of local businesses, sheriff’s employees will distribute bags of candy, and other assorted treats to hundreds of children.

Each year, the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office assists local communities in an effort to provide a safe and fun-filled Octoberfest environment for children and families to enjoy. The Sheriff’s Office has been actively involved in Octoberfest celebrations for nearly a decade.
